Privacy policy

Information under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection (Slovakia). Effective from 19 May 2026.

2. Scope of this document

This text applies to processing in connection with the firemnycloud.sk website, inquiries, and pre-contract communication. We provide Business Cloud services to B2B customers (companies, municipalities, organisations), not to consumers for private use.

Data processed under contracted services (hosting, Nextcloud, communication, AI, etc.) is governed primarily by the data processing agreement (DPA) between you as controller and us as processor. The DPA lists scope, subprocessors, and locations (EU).

3. Purposes, categories, and legal bases

• Contact and inquiry (name, email, phone, message, selected service): handling your inquiry and pre-contract steps; legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
• Contract and billing (identification and billing data): contract performance and accounting; legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b), (c) GDPR and related law.
• Website operation (technical logs, IP address, cookies necessary for operation): security and operation; legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We send marketing messages only with consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Recipients and processors

We share data only as needed to deliver the service: hosting and infrastructure in the EU (Germany), accounting, legal advice in disputes, and public authorities when required by law.

The list of subprocessors for hosted services is in the DPA. We do not transfer data to third countries outside the EU/EEA unless expressly required by law or agreed in the DPA with appropriate GDPR safeguards.

5. Retention

Inquiries without a contract are usually kept for up to 24 months. Contract and accounting data for statutory periods (typically 10 years from the end of the accounting period). Web logs for as long as needed for security, usually up to 12 months.

6. Data subject rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability (where applicable), objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdrawal of consent. Send requests to the contact above; we respond within GDPR time limits.

You may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, dataprotection.gov.sk, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava.

7. Obligation to provide data

Inquiry data is voluntary; without it we cannot respond. Data required for contract and billing is a contractual or legal requirement.

8. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects against you within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

9. Cookies

The website uses technically necessary cookies for operation. Analytical or marketing cookies only with consent, if we introduce them. In that case we will add a banner and detail page.

10. Changes

We may update this text. The current version is always on this page. For material changes in an existing contract relationship we will inform you appropriately.
